Questions parents ask
What age can my child start?
From 4 years, in our Bala Bharatham class.
Is there a trial class?
Yes. Ask us about a trial class when you enquire.
What should my child wear to the first class?
Comfortable clothes. The dress code applies after joining.
Do adults learn too?
Yes, adult beginners are welcome.
How long until an Arangetram?
Usually many years of regular training. The Guru decides when a student is ready.
Are there performances?
Yes. Annual Day, plus temple and community events through the year.
Where are classes held?
In Sengkang (Anchorvale). The exact address is shared after you enquire.
What are the fees and timetable?
They depend on the level, so we share them when you enquire.

Class guidelines
Classes
Four 60-minute classes a month. Extra rehearsals before performances are communicated in advance.
Dress code
Leggings (tights) with a kurta or kameez top, a cotton dupatta, bangles and a bindi. Hair tied neatly back.
Fees
Payable monthly, on or before the second class of the month. Payment details are shared privately after registration. Please send a message after transferring.
Punctuality
Please arrive on time.
Devices
No phones, cameras or recording in class without the teacher's permission.
Replacement classes
Classes cancelled by the teacher are replaced by mutual agreement. Missed group classes are not replaced. No classes on public holidays.
Discipline
Students represent the academy, in class and on stage.
